How to purchase travel e-vouchers

  • Add your own personal message that will be included on the voucher
  • Once the voucher has been purchased, a pdf will be available for you to print or save

 

How to redeem travel e-vouchers

 

  • Your travel e-vouchers can be used as full or part payment for any ferry only booking made on www.stenaline.co.uk, via our call centre and/or any holiday products booked with Stena Line Travel Group AB
  • imply select your preferred route, date and sailing time and at the payment step, please enter your unique voucher code in the panel provided
  • Multiple travel e-vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the booking made
  • E-vouchers can only be redeemed in the currency of issue and are valid for 5 years from date of issue

Terms and Conditions

1.Gift vouchers are valid for 60 months (5 years)  from the issue date. After 60 months from the issue date any remaining balance will be cancelled. The validity of the gift vouchers cannot be extended
2.Gift vouchers can be used as full or part payment for any ferry travel only booking made with Stena Line and/or holiday products booked with Stena Line Travel Group AB. If the cost of the booking exceeds the value of the gift voucher the balance must be paid at the time of the booking
3.Gift vouchers can only be redeemed in the currency of issue
4.Multiple gift vouchers may be redeemed in the same transaction up to the value of the booking made
5.Gift vouchers cannot be used for the purchase of any goods or services onboard Stena Line’s vessels
6.Gift vouchers cannot be used for the purchase of other gift vouchers
7.Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If a booking is paid for with gift vouchers and subsequently cancelled, any refund that you may be entitled to will be added to the balance of the gift voucher
8.The risk of loss and title for Gift vouchers pass to the purchaser upon our electronic transmission of the gift voucher to the purchaser or designated recipient, whichever is applicable. Stena Line Travel Group AB cannot accept responsibility for any gift voucher which is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed or used without your permission
9.Stena Line Travel Group AB reserves the right to refuse to accept gift vouchers which are altered, tampered with, duplicated, damaged or obtained fraudulently
10. All ferry travel only bookings are subject to Stena Line’s Terms of Business and all holiday products are booked with Stena Line Travel Group AB and are subject to Stena Line Travel Group AB’s Terms of Business
11.Stena Line reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions of gift vouchers at any time and to take appropriate action, including the cancellation of the gift vouchers, if, in its discretion, it deems such action necessary. This does not affect your legal rights
12. Except as otherwise provided by applicable law, your contract is with Stena Line Travel Group AB and these Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this contract and these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the English Courts

What amounts can I buy travel e-vouchers for?

You can buy travel e-vouchers for any whole amounts above £1.

 

Can I buy multiple travel e-vouchers?

Yes you can buy as many travel e-vouchers as you like in one transaction. Simply enter the number you wish to purchase in the “Amount” panel provided.

 

I’m an Extra member. Can I buy a travel e-vouchers using my Extra points?

No it’s not possible at this time to purchase travel e-vouchers using your points.

 

How long are travel e-vouchers valid for?

Travel e-vouchers are valid for 60 months from date of issue. After 60 months from the issue date, any remaining balance will be cancelled. The validity of travel e-vouchers cannot be extended.

 

How do I send travel e-vouchers to the recipient?

When you have completed your purchase online, you can download or print the travel e-voucher which you can then forward to the intended recipient.

What products can I use my travel e-vouchers for?

Travel e-vouchers can be used to purchase any Stena Line crossing including ferry and accommodation bookings when you book directly with us online or via our call centre. For Irish Sea Rail & Sail bookings, please contact the call centre to make your booking on 03447 707 070.

Please note: Travel e-vouchers CANNOT be used for purchases onboard or to buy additional gift vouchers and are valid for 5 years from date of issue.

 

How do I make a booking using travel e-vouchers?

Simply select your preferred route, date and sailing time in the booking engine and at the payment step, enter your unique voucher code which is quoted on the e-voucher into the relevant panel provided. If the cost of the booking exceeds the value of the e-voucher, the balance must be paid at the time of the booking.

 

I’m an Extra member. Will I earn points on bookings made with travel e-vouchers?

Yes, you will earn points on all valid bookings as per the Extra terms and conditions.

 

Can I pay for a booking using both Extra points and travel e-vouchers?

Yes, this is possible for all valid bookings as per the Extra terms and conditions.

 

Can I use travel e-vouchers for purchases onboard?

No, at this time travel e-vouchers cannot be used for purchases onboard.

 

How many travel e-vouchers can I use when paying for my booking?

You can use as many vouchers as you wish as full or part payment up to the value of your trip for any ferry only or ferry and accommodation bookings made directly with us online or via our call centre. Simply enter the voucher numbers in the relevant panel at the payment step.

 

What happens if my travel e-voucher is for a higher amount than my booking?

The e-voucher will keep the remaining balance for you to use towards future bookings until the balance reaches zero and/or until the validity date has passed.

 

Can I amend my booking?

Yes you can amend your booking online at www.stenaline.co.uk/login or via the call centre prior to the date of travel and subject to our terms of business.
