Here you'll find directions by car and public transport to our ferry terminal in Gothenburg for travel to Kiel, Germany.
Drive on the E6 highway from the north to Malmö and then take the Frederikshavn exit after Tingstadstunneln. Follow signs with the large ferry symbol and continue to Frölunda Centre (South) driving through the Göta Tunnel (E45). You should then follow signs for Kiel, Klippan, Mariaplan and turn right onto Jaegerdorff.
If you are driving from the South on the E6 highway, you should take the exit towards Gårda South, Orgryte and then follow the signs with the ferry symbol.
You'll find car parking spaces directly outside the main Stena Line Ferry Terminal. It costs 5 SEK per hour and 50 SEK per day. It is not possible to pay by credit card therefore; you will need either the exact change or a frequent petrol card to pay.
Please Note that the car park is liable to flooding during bad weather so please park at your own risk.
It is possible to travel to Gothenburg Centralstation from many Swedish destinations. Also, you can reach the Stena Line Ferry Terminal from Gothenburg City Centre by public tram numbers 3 or 9, disembarking Jaegerdorffsplatsen.
It is possible to travel by tram to the Stena Line main Ferry Terminal, disembarking at the Jaegerdorffsplatsen stop.
From this bus stop it will take approximately 5 minute's walking following the signs provided. Alternatively, tram number 9 or 3 takes you directly to and from the Central Station.
You can catch a taxi adjacent to the platform in the main train station and also from directly outside the bus station. Alternatively, it is possible to pre-book taxis by calling the following number +46 (0)3 165 0000.
