Dutchflyer Rail & Sail

Stena Line's Dutchflyer provides combined rail and ferry travel for passengers wishing to travel from Britain to Holland. Depart from any Greater Anglia station to our Hook of Holland Port from as little as £72 one-way.


Train services from Greater Anglia stations take you to Harwich International Port where you can board one of Stena Line's two Superferries to Holland.

Please note when purchasing rail and sail tickets

NS (Dutch Railway company) are not pre-selling any tickets via Stena Line which means customers cannot book the Rail & Sail product with inclusive onward travel via Metro and NS. Customers are advised to buy their tickets for onward travel in the Netherlands directly from NS or at the station just outside our Hook of Holland terminal.

Any Greater Anglia Station

Depart from any Greater Anglia station to Harwich International port where your Stena Line ferry will sail you straight across to Holland.

 

Greater Anglia trains conveniently depart from London Liverpool Street, Ipswich, Colchester, Norwich and Cambridge.

Fast travel within Holland

Metro rail services are now available from Hook of Holland Port to Schiedam Centrum. The metro station can be found outside the front of the ferry terminal.

 

From Schiedam Centrum there you can access to the NS rail system, Amsterdam is under an hour and a half away, The Hague is just 30 minutes. For a complete list of NS stations in Holland, visit the NS Rail website. Note that travel on the Metro or NS services is not included in the Dutchflyer ticket.

Information on Traveling to / from Holland with a Bicycle

Unfortunately, bicycles cannot be included as part of our Rail & Sail Ticket Package. Should you wish to travel with your bicycle, all rail travel has to be be booked directly through the railway carrier websites. Please visit Greater Anglia for booking cycles on the UK section of your journey and NS Railways or RET for the Dutch section. It is possible to book your bicycle on our ferries to Holland but this must to be done separately as a foot passenger and not as part of our Rail & Sail Dutchflyer Package.

Please note, that bicycles are allowed on the metro between Monday - Friday from 9:00 to 16:00 and after 18:30; and all day on Saturday and Sunday.
