When you arrive at the port

Accessible facilities are available across our ports to help make your journey easier from the moment you arrive.

Port information pages include details on:

You can find information pages for your port of departure by going to the relevant route page for your journey. Select your route from this page, then scroll to the ‘Port Locations’ link near the bottom of the page under the ferry guides.

Once you have the port location, you can check for the closest "Changing Places" facilities.

Travelling by car

Arriving at the port

A designated lane or parking area is available for passengers travelling with accessibility requirements, so please be sure to inform staff on arrival at the port.

Ramps and dropped kerbs are available to support easy movement between parking areas and terminal or vessel access points.

Boarding

Where possible, vehicles carrying passengers with accessibility needs will be parked close to lifts or step-free access points. For example, if you need to use a ramp, lift or need additional space around your car. If you wish to be assisted from your car to the areas on board, please request assistance in advance and at check in.

Please note that boarding order is based on operational and vessel safety requirements, so it may differ from order of arrival.

Please follow instructions given by our staff.
