Safety and emergencies

Your safety and wellbeing are always our priority.

Emergency assistance

In the unlikely event of an emergency, passengers will be directed to a designated muster station. Our staff are trained to assist passengers with both visible and hidden disabilities during evacuation procedures.

In the event of an emergency, lifts and escalators will be out of operation. If you would be unable to get to an assembly point without assistance in this event, please inform us at the time of booking.

Safety information on board

Safety announcements are made through the PA system and on screens onboard.

Large-print and Braille emergency instructions are available on UK routes.

Please go to Guest Services if you require any additional information.

Delay and travel updates

In the event of significant delays or operational changes, we’ll endeavour to keep passengers informed through:

  • announcements
  • staff
  • digital travel updates
  • SMS notifications where available
Weather and operational conditions

During severe weather or operational disruption, pre-booked accessibility arrangements may change.

If you have mobility, medical, or other requirements, please inform us during booking so we can support your journey in the event of any delays or cancellations.
