Do you have a lost property process?

All personal property found on our vessels or in ports is sent to our lost property offices ashore for collection. Items found onboard are kept for 30 days before being destroyed on Irish Sea routes and up to 3 months on our Harwich-Hook of Holland route. For sailings to/from Sweden, lost items are handed to local police after 1-3 weeks. 


For hygiene reasons no items left onboard will be retained unless they are high value items such as laptops or phones. For high value items please contact us. In Sweden, PolandIreland and the UK please complete the Customer Services Form on the 'Contact us' page and select 'Lost property' as the nature of your query.  If you had booked a cabin, please include the cabin number when completing the form.  All personal hygiene items left behind will not be kept regardless of value.


Please note: Stena Line cannot be held responsible for lost or stolen property. All passengers are advised to keep their valuables safely locked in their vehicle and to never leave their belongings unattended while travelling.
