New Harwich - Hook of Holland Superferries

Stena Line has announced an investment of over £300 million in building two new Superferries for the Harwich to the Hook of Holland route. The new Superferries will join the route in 2010.

The two new Superferries will be considerably larger than the Stena Britannica and Stena Hollandica ships which currently sail on the Harwich to the Hook of Holland route. Each new Superferry will have 30% more capacity for passengers and cars.

The new ships are currently being built at the Aker Yards in Wismar, Germany, and will be the world's largest RoPax vessels.

More information on the Superferries will be added to www.stenaline.co.uk throughout 2009.
