Can I charge my electric vehicle on board?

Yes! Stena Scandinavica provides passengers with electric cars the chance to charge their vehicle on the Gothenburg - Kiel route. Scandinavica has three stations for charging six electric cars (fully electric or plug-in hybrid) during an overnight crossing. 

 

You should be at the terminal at least 45 min before departure but, due to the location of the charging stations, the controlled loading sequence may mean you do not get on board in time for early seating in the restaurant.

 

How to book

You must prebook the facility on the 'Onboard Extras' step when booking your travel. The price is per car (up to 6m long, 2m high; not for motorhomes or caravans/trailers). 

 

This facility is not currently available on any of our other ferries.
