Here you'll find easy directions to our ferry port in Rostock by car and public transport
If you are driving from Lübeck, take the A20 route towards Rostock and continue onto the A19 towards Rostocker Kreuz. Take the exit signposted Rostock Überseehafen and follow the Ost-West-Straße (East-West-Road) until you reach the Stena Line Ferry terminal.
If you are travelling from Berlin, take the A24 route until you reach the Wittstock / Dosse A19 junction. Continue on the A19 until you see the signs for Rostock Überseehafen, then follow the Ost-West-Straße (East-West-Road) until you reach the Stena Line Ferry Terminal.
If you are travelling from central station you can take the S-Bahn (in the direction of Warnemünde) and disembark at Lütten Klein. TYou can also take bus number 45 (in the direction of Warnowblick ) and disembark at Seehafen Fähre. This bus runs every 30 minutes Monday – Friday and hourly Saturday – Sun).
If you are travelling from central station south, you can take bus number 49 which runs via Kröpeliner Tor and Dierkower Kreuz directly to the port. Disembark at Seehafen Fähre. This bus runs every 60 minutes on Monday to Friday and every 120 minutes on Saturday and Sunday.
Alternatively, it is possible to take bus number 19 to Dierkower Kreuz, accessible by tram lines 1,3 and 4 (trams run every 60 minutes on Monday to Friday).

There is parking is available in Briggen, close to the main ferry terminal. A free P-plate which is obtained from the ferry terminal building is required.

Parking can be paid for using cash or the following cards, Preem, Hydro, Shell, Amex, Diners, Statoil, Volvokort, OkQ8, VISA, Mastercard and Eurocard.
It is possible to travel to Malmo train station from various Swedish destinations. Take bus number 146 from the main station to the Stena Line Ferry Terminal disembarking at the final stop, Trelleborg Övre. It is a 10 minute walk to the terminal.
If you are travelling from Malmo train station, you need to take bus number 146 and disembark at the final stop which is Trelleborg Övre. From here it is 10 minute walk to the Stena Line Ferry Terminal. This bus runs several times an hour and takes approximately 50 minutes. the bus will cost 60 SEK / € 7.20 per person.
Yellow buses service the Skåne region. It is possible to pay the bus driver using a debit or credit card. For tourists, it's a great idea to purchase a Jojo card, available in the kiosk at the bus station in Trelleborg. The card is charged with a certain amount (usually 200 SEK) and it can be used by more than one person.
Green buses service the city of Trelleborg. It's possible to purchase a regular bus ticket onboard or you can purchase 24 / 72-hour tickets using a Jojo card. Regular tickets are also available at the tourist office in Trelleborg. Alternatively, there is an "Around the Sound" ticket, valid in the Øresund region and can be used for trips to Copenhagen.

Please Note that a shuttle bus runs from the main terminal building to the ferry because walking is not permitted. Please allow half an hour or more before your ferry departure time.
