Passengers with special needs

Stena Line offers passengers with special needs assistance when on a ferry crossing to Holland.

The extensive ferry travel assistance features mean that all parts of Stena Line's ferries are accessible to both wheelchair and non-wheelchair users. And, if you require further assistance, you'll be able to arrange for your requirements at the port before embarking on your ferry to Holland.

To enable us to provide you with the best level of service, we kindly request that you check-in at least 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time. Foot passengers requiring further assistance when embarking are able to arrange for their requirements at the check-in desk at the port. Please note that you may have to wait before we can assist you.

If you are traveling as a car passenger we advise you to check-in as early as possible. At check-in you will receive a special card which is to be placed clearly visible in your windscreen. Our car deck staff will direct you to a parking spot near the elevators leading to the passenger decks.

Disabled facilities and special needs assistance onboard

Stena Line travellers wth special needs will find a number of facilities and assistance once they're onboard their ferry. The disabled ferry cabin is spacious and comes complete with a fully accessible toilet and beds. In the ferry's public areas, you'll also find a disabled toilet near the Metropolitan Restaurant on Deck 9.

People who need guide dogs for assistance when walking won't face any restrictions when travelling around the ferry's public areas.

Ferry services and assistance in the event of an emergency

Stena Line's special needs travellers will also receive assistance from a member of the onboard team in the event that there is an emergency during your ferry journey.
