Winterland Maastricht
From late November, right through to early January, the Winterland Maastricht festival is in full bloom. Located on the Vrijthof, a large square in the city centre, the festival incorporates a huge ice rink, fairground, theatre shows, live music and a Christmas market. Sip mulled wine or hot chocolate and taste the local pancakes at one of the most popular Christmas events in Holland.

Simply take the ferry to Hook of Holland with Stena Line and travel on to Maastricht by road or rail where a world of cultural pleasures awaits.
