In its 26th year, the Fantastic Film Festival Amsterdam runs from 14th - 24th April 2010 at the Kriterion Theatre. The perfect escape for lovers of the fantasy, horror, anime and sci-fi movie genres.

For horror fans, the highlight of the festival is the Night of Terror on the evening of 17th April 2010. Take part in the Scream Queen Contest and bring a cushion to hide behind as you watch scaries such as The Crazies and Vampire Girl vs. Frankenstein Girl.

There will also be screenings of films sent in by amateur film makers. The deadline for this year has passed, but the festival could set your imagination whirring in time for next year!

If you’re feeling invigorated by all the creativity, why not free your mind by hopping on a bike? It’s by far the best way to get around Amsterdam in spring.
