Choose from a variety of places to eat and drink onboard during your crossing and menus to suit all at the Food City or Metropolitan restaurant, as well as the Riva and Food City bar.

Travelling during the day

If you're departing in the morning from Harwich on the Stena Britannica the Riva Bar, open throughout the crossing, is ideal for a morning coffee and to read your morning paper. For a mid-morning snack, head for Food City. Food City is perfect to congregate with all your friends/family. Hot food is available from 12.00 - 14.00 (UK time) with a full and varied menu, including pies, soups, sandwiches and salads to suit all ages and tastes.

On the Stena Hollandica afternoon sailing from Hook of Holland the Food City restaurant is open throughout the sailing, with hot food available from 15.00 (Dutch time). Alternatively, have an afternoon tea or alcoholic beverage in the Riva bar, the relaxed ambience makes it the perfect place to unwind. The Metropolitan restaurant, which serves food from 17.00 (Dutch time), offers a delicious buffet menu and will ensure you disembark with a satisfied stomach.

Travelling overnight

What better way to begin your trip than by tucking into a delicious meal at the Metropolitan restaurant. From 20.00 (UK time) on the Stena Britannica from Hook of Holland and 22.30 (Dutch time) on the Stena Hollandica from Harwich, you can enjoy the relaxed ambience of our comfortable onboard restaurant where you’re sure to enjoy the excellent “at seat service” and the delicious buffet menu. You can even pick your own ingredients for the onboard chef to stir fry it for you. Book early, and you’ll be able to reserve a view over the sea where you’ll be able watch the ship depart. After your meal, retire to the Riva Bar where you can enjoy an after dinner drink.

The following morning, start the day the right way: treat yourself to buffet breakfast at the Metropolitan before you disembark.  Breakfast is served from 6.00. Choose from a mouth-watering range including full English breakfast, fresh pastries, cereal, yoghurt and fruit.
