Dun Laoghaire Port

Stena Line welcomes you to Dun Laoghaire Port which is a purpose built facility for its High Speed Ferries.


Facilities include:

Automated Bank Machine (ATM):
There are no ATM machines in the terminal building. Allied Irish Bank has an ATM machine across the road beside Meadows & Byrne retail shop 2 minutes walk. There are further ATM machines in the town of Dun Laoghaire, 3 minutes walk.

Tourist information:
There is a Dublin Tourism office located in the main terminal building opposite the Travel Centre and is open Monday to Friday 09.30 to 17.30 (closed for lunch 13.15 to 14.30). Information also available on www.visitdublin.com or Free Phone: 1850 230 330



Car Parking

There are 450 Pay and Display car parking spaces in and around the ferry terminal. The parking is operated by the Dun Laoghaire Harbour Company, www.dlharbour.ie and following charges apply.

Hourly rate €2.00 or first 24 hours €16.00 and each day there after €8.00

There are several Park and Display machines located around the terminal which take coin and notes. The are machines in the underground car park which take credit card. Payment can also be made at the Harbour Police desk located in the concourse.

Public Transport

There is extensive public transport serving Dun Laoghaire Port both rail and bus.

Trains:
Dublin Area Rapid Transport (DART) trains run approximately every twenty minutes through Dun Laoghaire. Dun Laoghaire station is also served by mainline trains. Further details of timetables and fares are available on www.irishrail.ie. The station is located directly across the road from the ferry terminal.

Buses:
Several bus routes serve Dun Laoghaire Port. For further details of times and fares visit Dublin Bus’s web site at www.dublinbus.ie

Taxis:
There is a taxi rank for public taxis outside the passenger terminal. A further taxi rank is located opposite Dun Laoghaire shopping centre, 3 minutes from the terminal

Going by train

Belfast Central Station is a 5 minute taxi journey from the terminal.

Going by bus

Laganside Bus Centre is located close to the port, only 5 minutes on foot.

Terminal Facilities

Bureau de Change

There is no currency exchange facility at the port, although Guest Services onboard the Stena Voyager HSS and Stena Caledonia superferry provide this facility. Payment is accepted for tickets at the port by cash (Sterling), cheque, and all major credit cards.

Baby Changing Facilities

There are baby changing facilities in the public toilets at the foot passenger terminal. There is also a baby changing room at the Car Ferry Terminal situated at the entrance of the Port.

Special Needs Facilities

We provide priority boarding to disabled car drivers/passengers on the Stena Voyager HSS and Stena Caledonia Superferry, providing notification has been given at the time of booking. We also provide assistance to disabled foot passengers - wheelchairs are available in the foot passenger terminal. In the Ferry Terminal there is a disabled toilet, situated adjacent to the public toilets beside the check-in desk.
