LEADING ferry company Stena Line has launched a fantastic range of School Day Trips for 2012 and with a range of exciting attractions to visit and two simple booking options they are guaranteed to appeal to both pupils and teachers alike.

The two ‘flexible’ booking options offer schools in Scotland the chance to travel to Northern Ireland from only £10 per person for ferry travel only or combined ferry and coach travel from £20 per person. The ferry and coach option also includes coach travel once you dock to any destination within 1.5 hours of Belfast port.

For kids, Stena Line offers loads of fun, exciting and educational trips to a range of top class attractions in Northern Ireland, including Belfast Zoo, W5 and the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum from £23 per person.

And for teachers, the new products offer a simple stress-free means of organising a trip for your school with just one phone call or click online and with an additional bonus of one passenger travelling free with every ten paying passengers.

New for 2012 is the Belfast City Sightseeing tour from just £17 per person and, from September Stena Line will offer a day trip to Belfast’s latest attraction, Titanic Belfast, from £25 per person.

For day trips, travel is available off our 0730 sailing or 11:30 sailings from Cairnryan with return from Belfast at 1530 or 1930.

All Stena Line day trips includes return travel on a fantastic Stena Line Superfast ferry from Cairnryan to Belfast and with the ships offering free Wi-Fi, iPads and Xbox access, free movies and a great selection of food and beverages the fun starts as soon as you step onboard.

Stena Line’s Head of PR and Communications, Diane Poole, OBE, says that children and teachers are sure to enjoy the Stena Line experience,

"Many adults have told us that when they go on holiday, the crossing is one of the most exciting aspects for their children," said Diane.

"Now kids and teachers can sample the new Superfast ferries as they travel in style to a range of exciting destinations.

"Some of our schools packages are also suited to youth clubs, sports teams, community groups and youth organisations so we look forward to hearing from them also," she added. “By organising everything for you, Stena Line takes all the hassle and stress away from teachers. It really is a case of one call or click and your trip will be sorted. It couldn’t be easier,” concluded Diane.
