Book NOW for Summer 2010

Stena Line is predicting a busy Easter and summer ahead on its route to Holland as Brits yearn to escape to the continent.

With 2009 the year of the staycation, Stena Line is predicting a busy Easter and summer ahead on its route to Holland as Brits yearn to escape to the continent after a year at home. Prices, even at peak times in high season, start from just £49 one-way for a car and one passenger, plus £11 per additional adult or £6 per additional child (up to 15 yrs, under twos travel free), and those booking early will secure the lowest fares.

With a similar pricing structure to low fares airlines, as the cheaper fares sell out, the prices on popular crossings will rise. This means that those securing spaces on busy crossings by booking in January could save hundreds of pounds compared to those waiting until the week of travel to book.

Also attracting new customers in 2010 will be the introduction of two new Superferries on the twice-daily Stena Line service between Harwich and the Hook of Holland. A result of the largest ever investment by the company, over £380 million has been spent on building the two brand new vessels which will enter the market in summer and autumn 2010. The largest ferries of their type in the world, each will be capable of transporting 230 cars and have 1,376 beds on board. Customers will also be able to enjoy on board services including buffet and a la carte restaurant, cinema, bar, lounge, media room and internet corner, as well as children and teenager zone.

The lead in-fare of £49 one-way for a driver and car, plus £11 per additional adult and £6 per additional child aged two to 15 yrs, is currently available for peak travel times in 2010. Cabins for overnight crossings start from £18 per person one-way, based on two sharing.
