Stena Line may require personal information about you when you sign up to receive Special Offers via email, register to join our eXtra loyalty scheme, make an online booking, if you create a user profile when making a booking, if you enter competitions, complete a feedback form or register to request a brochure. From time to time we will also conduct customer surveys where we gather your feedback.
We also collect information about your use of the Stena Line website from cookies.
Why do we collect this data?
Your data is used in order for Stena Line to continuously improve our services to you and to ensure that you get the best out of site.
In order to enable you to find the best product to suit your needs, the collection of personal information is limited and always voluntary. As a user you may opt-in to receive information from us, for which we require only basic personal information.
We do not collect further data without your permission and you are always able to update your personal details provided to us and also to unsubscribe so as not to receive any further information from us.

Log files allow us to record visitors' use of the site which we use to make changes to the layout of the site and to the information in it, based on the way that visitors move around it. The company is a leader in data processing and management and was carefully screened by Stena Line to ensure maximum protection of your privacy and the security of your personal details. The company uses your personal data in accordance with the instructions we provide to them.
Changing your personal details
Whenever you receive an email you will be able to link to your personal profile to update it. In addition, if you have created a user profile when making a booking, you can edit your details via the "My Login" link on the top navigation bar. You can also email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with the changes to your details.
If you would like us to stop sending you marketing communications, we offer simple ways for you to unsubscribe. When you receive an email from us, you will have the option to unsubscribe. You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com with your unsubscribe request. Please provide us with your name, address and email address in order to facilitate your request.
If you tell us that you do not wish to receive further direct marketing, you will still receive communications confirming and servicing any bookings you make with us, and, if you are an Executive Club member, we will continue to keep you informed about your membership benefits and entitlements.
