I'd rather not leave my dog in the car. Is there an alternative?

Pets can travel in kennels on the car deck on all routes between Britain, Ireland and Holland*. We cannot take advance reservations however and kennels are issued on a first come, first served basis. No animals are permitted in the passenger areas onboard our southern and central corridor routes (Dublin/Dun Laoghaire – Holyhead & Rosslare - Fishguard). Small dogs are permitted onboard our Belfast – Stranraer route if they are secured for the duration of the crossing in a pet traveler case. However, this is at the discretion of Stena Line personnel and if requested, passengers may be required to place the animal on the car deck in the dedicated kennel area.

Guide, hearing and autism assistance dogs are welcome in the Passenger Lounge at the port and onboard all of our crafts.

*Please note we cannot accept dogs on our Ferries operating on the Larne-Fleetwood route and also on the Stena Express fastcraft operating on the Dun Laoghaire - Holyhead and Rosslare - Fishguard routes.
