Stena Line’s ferries to the Hook of Holland operate on one of the most historic ferry routes in Europe, and one which was formerly part of P&O Stena Line.

P&O Stena Line was formed in 1998, following the merger of P&O Dover – Calais and Stena Line Dover – Calais and Newhaven – Dieppe. The new ferry company, P&O Stena Line, operated a passenger and freight service on the Dover – Calais route to France , as well as the Dover- Zeebrugge route to Belgium, with the primary intention of meeting competition from the new Euro Tunnel.
